A Modification of the old USDA/Beltsville Recipe

Ingredients:
300g sucrose
300g baking powder (double-acting Calumet)
2 tsp. baker's yeast
20g dried cow or pig blood (find at garden supply/nurseries, used to fertilize plants)
100g dried milk
1/2 to 2/3 cup black strap molasses (too much will make bait gummy)
25 milliliter honey (doesn't smell as bad as using beer)
About 50 milliliters of water (The higher the humidity, the less water needed)*

1) Spray ice trays w/ non-stick PAM
2) Mix all dry ingredients
3) Then molasses, honey, and water to need
* (The higher the humidity, the less water needed)
4) press into ice trays
5) Dry at room temperature (70-80 degrees F.)

Place two cubes of bait from ice trays with a quart of water in pan
(Baking powder should fizz as this is done !!!)
